Privacy Policy

Laelapx is a pre-launch product. This policy explains what information we collect when you sign up for early access or partner outreach, how we use it, and the choices you have. We aim to collect the minimum necessary to evaluate fit and contact you when access opens.

What we collect

When you submit one of the early-access forms, we collect:

• Founders: name, email, company name, stage, sector, and an optional pitch-deck link.
• Investors: name, email, fund name, role, stage focus, and thesis description.
• Standard server logs (IP address, user agent, timestamp) for security and abuse prevention.

We do not request personal data beyond what appears in those forms. We do not run advertising or behavioral tracking.

How we use it

• To evaluate fit for the early-access cohort.
• To contact you when access opens, with product updates, or to schedule onboarding.
• To improve the product based on aggregate, de-identified patterns (e.g., common stages, sectors).

We do not use your information for marketing unrelated to Laelapx, and we do not sell or rent it to third parties.

Processors we use

• Formspree — receives and stores form submissions on our behalf. Their privacy policy applies to data they hold.
• Vercel — hosts the site and provides privacy-friendly analytics (no cookies, no cross-site tracking, aggregated only).
• Google Fonts — serves the Inter typeface.

Pitch decks and submitted materials

If you share a pitch-deck link, we treat its contents as confidential. We use it solely to evaluate Snapshot prototypes and will not redistribute it. You can ask us to delete it at any time.

Cookies and analytics

We use Vercel Web Analytics, which counts page views without setting cookies and without tracking visitors across other websites. We do not use third-party advertising or remarketing pixels.

Retention

We keep early-access submissions until either (a) early access concludes and you decide whether to continue using the product, or (b) you request deletion — whichever comes first.

Your rights

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your information at any time by emailing hello@laelapx.com. If you are in the EU, UK, or California, you have additional rights under GDPR / UK GDPR / CCPA, and we will honor verified requests within 30 days.

Security

Form submissions use HTTPS in transit. Storage is handled by our processors under their security programs. No system is perfect; we'll notify affected users promptly if a breach occurs.

Children

Laelapx is not directed at anyone under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes

If we make material changes to this policy, we'll update the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, notify subscribers by email.
